Traditionally used to improve vitality and nourish the blood.
Ingredients: Rehmannia, Poria Cocos, Chinese Angelica, White peony root, Bai Zhu, Chuan Xiong, Bastarg Gingseng, Cinnamon, Black dates, Milkvetch Root, Licorice, Wolf Wolfberry.
1. Half a chicken or 600gm pork ribs, cut to preferred size and blanch in a pot of boiling water for few minutes. Remove and set aside.
2. Put all the dried herbs and chicken into 1500-2000ml boiling water and bring to boil.
3. Lower the heat to the smallest flame and simmer for at leats 1.5 hours. Season with salt before serving.
